Background

Eleanor M. Summers holds a degree from Queen's University and an Ontario Teacher
Certificate. She is a retired elementary teacher who continues to be actively involved at
various levels of education. She has written many creative and practical resources for
teachers to use in their literacy programs. At present, she assists with early literacy
programs as a volunteer.
