This product can be used as an enrichment activity for an individual student or a group of students. It can also be used as a required activity in any classroom. It allows students to take any literary work, such as a novel, short story, poem, or play, and follow a predetermined format which helps them complete a total investigation and understanding of the work they have chosen to investigate. The LAP includes forms and formats in the following areas: 1) author background, 2) elements of fiction, 3) literary terms, 4) major characters, 5) vocabulary bank, 6) quote bank, 7) comprehension questions, 8) reading logs, 9) student projects, 10) true/false examination, 11) essay examination.
