This product can be used as an enrichment activity for an individual student or a group of students. It can also be used as a required activity in any classroom. It allows students to take any non-fiction literary work such as a biography, history or social commentary and follow a predetermined format which helps them complete a total investigation and understanding of the work they have chosen to investigate. The LAP includes forms and formats in the following areas: 1) author background, 2) major historical concepts, 3) elements of history, 4) major historical figures, 5) vocabulary bank, 6) quote bank, 7) comprehension questions, 8) reading logs, 9) student projects, 10) true/false examination.
