This learning activity packet can be used by teachers to assess their students' reading and thinking skills on assigned or self selected reading. The students will respond to several questions about the fiction that they have just completed reading. The packet also includes a "students' project" section. The student can choose from several activities to complete independently or with partners, in response to the literature. This work can be shared with other classmates in the spirit of encouraging them to also read the book.
