Megan's Last Name is the first book in the Officer Dan series. It is a children's picture book for Preschool to Kindergarteners where the students become the illustrators. The children will learn the important safety lesson of learning their last name. They will also learn what to do when they are lost, and how to identify "safe" people to go to in that event.Megan's Last Name: Role Playing Activities
These are included with the book. Children role-play what would happen if they were ever lost in a store, as Megan was in the book. This teaches children a practical safety lesson, and helps protect them if in fact they are ever separated from a parent in a store or business, while encouraging their imagination and dreams.
